Jerusalem is not only a city , it is also a psychological situation.
After my personal conclusions with the work of the psychological map with my friend and colleague Rony Daniel, i am turning to Inqure the origin of this mental situation.
I focused on the monuments of Jerusalem as a main cous of the problem.
In every monument there is a gathering of a specific group of people and therefore it become a center.
In the "centers of the world" work I present my interpretation of the differentiation of the mental center of the world and the psychological center of the world that just exist in people's minds and the seientific map of the solar system that exhibt the sun as the center of our world.
Both centers are existing, one is true in reality and the other is true mentaly.
In the solar system Jerusalem should appear as the center of the earth.
But in the old map of the 16 centurty Jerusalem appers as the sun and as the light of the world, there is the "other" sun of the world.
PEACE MARK is another monument that will focus not on religions but in the relationship between humans under the light.
PEACE MARK will host people and encourage people to have pilgrimage to the site, like every other monument in the city.
PEACE MARK will kindly give ralation to the rest of the monuments in the city becouse all the rest depending on the light of the sun that allows them to become monuments, and to become anything at all.
I would like to present the problamatic situation that exists in the city as all walls and materials,, history and monuments created a human brain wash.
Part of them create the symptoms of enmity and separation, and in part of them there is a little guilt and fault becouse of the fact that humans have to build walls and sepatet from the other.
In this part of time i would like to take a stand and say that as an atheist person i am looking at situation in a serious way.
One thing are common for all monuments - those are all shapes that were built out of diffrent ideology and under one light.
We are all creatures that live under the light.
In "peace mark" addes spaces made out of lace and this representor in the "monuments of jerusalem" work ( the second picture) .In there "peace mark" is a lace sheaf that tore down the temple that built out of all the others monuments.
The mission of "peace mark" is to serve as a "atheism monument" and becouse of that reason it is not blameless from all the others.
PEACE MARK will try to represent the sociological argument of all there religions.
The religion and particulary god are filling an important functions in the humane society, what indicate on the undepending need in the logic and in their truth.
The religion assists humans to create crystallized groups with collective views, identification that its origins is from common ideas and same norms.
In addition to religion bestow people the meaning of life, dictate behaviors through positioning of verification of good and bad.
But on the same way religion remove from society and from the individual the burden of the installations of human values and gave the responsibility to god.
PEACE MARK will enable humans to take responsibility of the human values.
PEACE MARK will include three schools of atheism, each school for every religion.
In each school there will be special facilities that knows how to deal with each religion.
Those schools will enables situations of spaces and eyesight between humans.
Also will be spaces that are common for all of the three religions.
PEACE MARK is also a monument that have an interest and that is to sell humans his atheism idiology.
Therefor I intend to combine with the 3 schools a museum that presents all monuments not only in Jerusalem but in the world and present parallelly all the diffrents faiths and beliefs that ever mix and brain wash humans minds.
SPACES
Spaces made out of lace can transfer the other to an un familiar shadow.
The situation i want to make is like an Israeli family sit near a moslem family and both can look at the other as figures and images and not as Israelis and moslems.
Therefor the privacy ratained but the identiy is dazed and the visual contact is being kept as light and shadow contact.
From the atheism point of view the architecture experience is to remind human their humanity befor they become a prodact of any religion.
Even if the degree of a person will come down to a degree of a shadow.
The existing of the interaction between a "shadow person" to a "light person" is better then any interaction at all.
But the freedom of choice will be given in peace mark, human in peace mark will have decide whether they want to go out of the mentale lace and meet the other in real.
In spite of that , as i see and know the situation , i would clearly say that the mahority will stay within the interaction between a "shadow person" and the "light person".
I will put an examples and skectches of situations in the following day.
